White Wine Pick – Evolution
My first recommendation – a wine I’ll almost guarantee the quality for the price.

Nicely chilled – it is truly summer in a bottle. Nine grape varietals make up this wine from Willamette Valley in Oregon. Citrus flavors, semi-Dry, crisp. I’d say it sits right between an off-dry Riesling (not as sweet) and a Pinot Blanc (not as dry).
You can find it for $15.
At that price – I’d buy a case and call it a day. Stock up, you’ll use it for drinking and it’s a great marinade base for shrimp on the barbecue. It can easily compete with Conundrum as a nice white blend. Not as full-bodied but always good.
Jen and I have been to the Sokol Blosser winery with our good friends Heather & Steve.
Up on a hill in Dundee, OR. Nice place, great staff and like a number of wineries in the area – nice view. Below is more of the Dundee region hillside, taken outside Archery Summit.
Since that trip, if I see Evolution in a store and need something I can depend on for entertaining – I buy it. (unless I want to splurge on Conundrum)
